Molly and the Doggy Dentist
Molly and the Doggy Dentist — The Daily Rounds of a Hound 3 by Ed Payne and illustrated by Britt Sekulic is the continuing tale of Molly Malone, the lovable shelter dog.
In Molly and the Doggy Dentist, Molly needs a makeover. At least she thinks she does. Her unsightly teeth go this way and that. Molly’s underbite isn’t very becoming for a young mom of nine frisky pups. She dreams of a sparkly Hollywood smile, of being a hound about town.
Are braces the answer. Or does beauty come from within?
Molly and the Doggy Dentist is the third children’s picture book by Marietta, Georgia-based Ed Payne, an Emmy award- and Peabody award-winning journalist. The book’s fun rhyming style is inspired by the books we all grew up with.
“This book is dedicated to anyone who has ever felt the pressure to fit in,” Payne said. “Think of how boring it would be if we were all the same.”
